Gosaikunda Lake Trek
Overview

Gosaikunda Lake Trek was the pilgrimage center of the Hindu and Buddhist religions some time ago. Now it has become the trekking zone alongside. The trek is located in the northern part of Nepal, at an altitude of 4,380m. There are 108 small and big lakes, but we visit only a few of them. If we want to explore it all, it’s supposed to be a tough one. The Gosaikunda Lake Trek is now popular among trekkers as it is the shortest and offers close ranges of Mt. Langtang, Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langshisha, Manaslu, Yala Peak, and many more. The Gosaikunda Lake Trek is supposed to be a gem of nature because it covers the diverse biodiversity of Nepal and offers excellent views of hilly terrain and Himalayan terrain.

We commence our journey from Kathmandu to Dhunche via drive, and from there we set out the marvelous trek toward Gosaikunda Lake. As the trek ascends gradually higher, we see different vistas of the Himalayan Ranges all around. We continue walking through the Trishul River, go into the dense forests like a stunning tunnel, and cross the meadow ridges. Finally, we reach our final destination, Gosaikunda Lake.
