Annapurna Circuit Trek
Overview

The strenuous trek that is relatively well known to a few of us and covers all the Apex mountains covered with snow-capped peaks is the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The trek takes us to see the startling beauty of nature, from the land of arid cliffs to the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki george. It is not enough yet. We have so many things to see. The settlements of various ethnic groups and their cultures are very inviting to participate in.The Annapurna Circuit Trek includes sacred Mount Machhapuchhre, Mount Dhaulagiri, Mount Annapurna I, Mount Annapurna II, Mount Manaslu, Mount Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and many more. The renowned view point for the stunning sunrise views, the Annapurna Poon Hill Trek, is also included in our trek. As we begin the trek, we get used to the strenuous trek because it takes us to the unimaginable geography of Nepal. From the hilly lands to the desert mountain lands, and eventually snow-capped mountain lands.

We will have a short briefing on the Nepal trip in the hotel. For the remainder of the day, we stroll in Thamel. The city is a major hub of tourism. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After having an early morning breakfast, we begin our day tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We visit Kathmandu Dubar Square. The place is highly recommended as a hub for tourism. Then, we go to a serene temple called Pashupatinath and visit the world's largest Boudhanath stupa. Finally, we explore the monkey's temple, Swayambhunath. We return to the hotel and finalize preparations for tomorrow's trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We commence our journey via the drive and move ahead on the highway's ups and downs. As we enter the hilly terrain, which covers mostly forests and the settlements of many attractive tiny towns, After reaching Besisahar, the road seems to be somewhere bumpy and black-topped until we reach Chame. The drive takes almost 4 hours alongside the floating turquoise-blue Marsyangdi River. The narrow road is perfect for four wheels and is made mostly by cutting the massif cliffs from top to bottom along the bank of the Marsyangdi River. The continuous drive goes along the bank of the river, or sometimes above it, by offering beautiful views of waterfalls and valleys along the way. Overnight in Chame.

After having breakfast, we go ahead and gradually ascend all the way to Pisang, where the trail leads through hide-and-seek games with imposing Himalayan landscapes. As the trail steadily goes on through the lush forests along the Marshyangdi River, it eventually takes us to lower Pisang.

Today's section of our trek starts from lower Pisang and goes down and up along the mesmerizing views of snow-capped mountains all around to the higher level of our trek. The area is formed of gritty soils mixed with rocky hills. The windy path goes through thin forests of encircling juniper trees and descends towards Ngawal. Overnight in Ngawal.

We start our trek on a steep downhill trek to Humde Village, where the gorgeousness of the Annapurna ranges is evident in the closer views of our eyes, including Mount Dhaulagiri, Mount Manaslu, Mount Gangapurna, and many more. The trek gradually reaches higher altitudes to reach today's final destination, Manang. Manang is known as the Kingdom Beyond the Mountains and the Capital of Apples. Overnight in Manang.

Today is the day we spend our time exploring the hidden treasure of Manang. The lower parts of the hills are filled with sedimentary rocks, which makes them unique attractions for every visitor. The attractions of the sedimentary dessert lands are spectacular views of the Mount Annnapurna Ranges and the peaceful atmosphere of Buddhism. As we explore Manang, we go to the Himalayan Rescue Association to get tips about mountain sickness and related information.

Then, move toward beautiful Lake Gangapurna. The formation of the Gangapurna Glacier is another attraction just above the lake. The Gangapurna Lake is a connection to the faith of religion to get rid of sins. Then we return to Manang. Overnight in Manang.

After having breakfast, we begin the exciting trek, which adds more noticeable glarious valleys. As our continued trek goes up and down, it gradually takes us to higher elevations through the barren pastures and gritty soil lands, and finally we reach Yak Kharka. Overnight in Kharka.

The trek goes upward through the suspension steel bridge over the valleys of the mountains. We gradually follow the wide and narrow route, then we cross a few landslide areas. We move ahead and see the remarkable slopes of the mountains; those peaks are filled with snow, which is absolutely delightful. We have close views of Thorong Peak, Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, and many others. Overnight in Thorang Phedi. Overnight in Thorang Phedi.

Today we begin our trek in the early morning after having breakfast to cross the world's highest passes. The Thorong La Pass. As we climb up steadily, we see the sunrise view over the towering peaks, which is incredible. We head toward Thorong La Pass, which we see from afar. It is marked by the stones and shrines encircling the colorful flags. It is the great achievement of our journey. Rest and take photos before heading to Muktinath. Overnight in Muktinath.

We wake up in the morning and brekfast. From Tatopani, our trail goes steeply up to higher elevations, and we have far-reaching views of the snow-capped mountains such as Mount Annapurna, Mount Dhaulagiri, Mount Nilgiri, and many more. The way we come across the forests is mostly covered with rhododendrons, which offer beautiful scenery on our trek to Ghorepani. Overnight in Ghorepani.

We ascend very early in the morning at Poon Hill station, which is the prime place to see the sunrise views over the Mount Annrpuana and Mount Dhaulagiri ranges. We take photos and enjoy them while having coffee as well. After spending hours there, we came back steeply to Gorepani for breakfast. Next, we move down toward Tadapani through the blooming valleys of rhododendron forests. Overnight in Tadapani.
