It is my second time trekking with Gokul, guide at Himalayan Glow Treks. It is always a pleasure: he knows the country and the routes very well, is always of good advice and in a good mood. I was surprised to see how he himself is very well known, trusted and respected by the "teahouses" (lodges) owners and staff, the porters, and the other guides. You feel you can really rely on him, and that if something ever goes wrong, whether trivial or more serious, he would always make the right decisions. I have also to point out the fact that the company takes care of many well appreciated extra services that were not mentionned when I initially booked with them: nepalese SIM card provided on arrival, with more data than I needed; many free drinks; phone charging when there is no electricity (Gokul have carried a heavy battery bank all the way long! would had he ask me before if he should take it, I would have say "no"), etc. Without forgetting the special dessert treat at the end of every dinner, which made many jealous among the other guests! (see photos). In one word, they seem realy eager to satisfy you beyond your expectations.

Gokul is a very professional guide, he always consider the needs of the customers, give suitable advice and arrange the activities appropriately. He has a high flexibility, can cater the needs of different people, can change the schedule according to the abilities of the hikers. Furthermore, he can listen to Cantonese very well and can communicate with Hong Kong hikers with Cantonese. We enjoyed the trip very much as the arrangement is good, the landscape of the Annapurna and Fishtail are stunning.
