Trek Itinerary for Everest Base Camp Trek
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593 ft)
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
Transfer to hotel, briefing on the trek, and preparation of permits.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m / 9,383 ft), Trek to Phakding (2,610m / 8,562 ft)
Early morning flight to Lukla (approx. 30 minutes) with stunning views of the mountains.
Begin the trek, descending towards Phakding, passing through villages and forests.
Trekking time: 3-4 hours.
Overnight stay in Phakding.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286 ft)
Trek along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges.
Enter Sagarmatha National Park and begin a steep climb to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town.
Trekking time: 6-7 hours.
Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Spend a day in Namche to acclimatize to the altitude.
Optional hikes to nearby villages, like Khumjung or the Everest View Hotel, for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m / 12,664 ft)
Trek with views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
Pass through rhododendron forests and reach Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Trekking time: 5-6 hours.
Overnight stay in Tengboche.
Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m / 14,469 ft)
Descend through forests and cross rivers before climbing to the village of Dingboche.
The landscape becomes more barren as you approach higher altitudes.

Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Another acclimatization day to help your body adjust.
Optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m) for spectacular views of Makalu and Lhotse.

Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m / 16,207 ft)
Gradual ascent through alpine landscapes.
Pass the memorials of climbers near Thukla Pass, a tribute to those who lost their lives on Everest.
Trekking time: 5-6 hours.
Overnight stay in Lobuche.
Day 9: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m / 16,961 ft), Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598 ft)
Early morning trek to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp.
Reach EBC, where climbers prepare for summit attempts; enjoy breathtaking views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding peaks.
Trek back to Gorak Shep for the night.
Trekking time: 7-8 hours.
Overnight stay in Gorak Shep.
Day 10: Hike from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m / 18,192 ft), Trek to Pheriche (4,371m / 14,340 ft)
Early morning climb to Kala Patthar for a panoramic sunrise view of Mount Everest and neighboring peaks.
Descend to Pheriche for overnight stay.
Trekking time: 7-8 hours.

Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Retrace your steps, descending through villages and forested areas.

Final day of trekking, heading back to Lukla.
