Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (Walking Tour, Welcome Dinner)

Altitude: 1300m/4,264ft
Kathmandu Valley welcomes you with open arms; look out for your name on the placard at the arrival gates. Our cheerful representative will then promptly escort you to the hotel. Rest awhile to shake off that jet lag. Adventure awaits you.

A wholesome Nepalese feast awaits your appetite in the evening, and experience the taste of Nepal as we host a welcome dinner for you. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2Kathmandu City Sightseeing

The daylight reveals the city in many different contrasts; wake up to explore the true identity of Kathmandu. Watch in amusement as scores of people pass by you, stop and observe their faces which hold a smile even to people unknown. The sights, smell and sounds of the city offer an amazing example of jovial concord, the tinkle of the temple bells to the blaring horns, and the ancient dwellings to towering buildings or the mix of incense in the fresh morning air.
You will have sightseeing around Kathmandu valley which places are most ancient and attractive which includes temples, stupas and palaces

Day 3Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, trekking to Phakding

Altitude: 2800m/ 9186ft | Flight: 40 mins | Trek 3-4 hrs
Spot the mighty Himalayas, the 40 min flight takes you above the clouds on your way to Lukla. The Tenzing Hillary airport comes into view, as you cut across the clouds to the landing strip below. Lukla, the gateway to the majestic Himalayas, offers a walk of a lifetime. TTake a hike to the Rimjung Monastery nearby if you want, and seek blessings for safety for the trip ahead. The Yeti Mountain Home luxury lodge in Phakding is located on a tranquil spot near the Dudh Koshi River,

Day 4Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Altitude: 3,440m/11,280ft | Trek 5 – 6hrs
Grab a hearty breakfast to take on the trail from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, you will need it. However, the trail will definitely make you feel elated, and the mighty peaks will accompany you all along the way. Cross the Dudh Koshi River four times over high suspension bridges and you might even catch a glimpse of the Everest Peak.. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. Trek to Kumjung Monastery and back 5-6 hrs trek

It’s time to acclimatize to the high elevation; Namche Bazaar precisely serves this purpose. So take the day and stroll around the town. The Sherpa capital has lot to offer as it is the trading point for traders from Tibet, as trading is a custom that has been the lifeblood of these regions for generations. You can gain more insights on the Sherpa culture and their lifestyle as the bazaar is bustling with activities. The town also offers access to Internet, check your e-mails and update your status on social media, but before you head on further, visit the Tourist Visitor Center close to the headquarters of the Sagarmatha National Park, while Namche market itself is certainly worth wandering around and is a good place to get some souvenir shots. ,.Overnight in Namche.

Day 6Namche Bazaar to Tyeangboche (3860m/12660ft): 5-6 hrs trek

The trek starts with a steep climb up Namche Bazaar. Then the trail eases out and you will see the Tibetan scripts that are carved out on the rock faces along the way, then climb to the Tyangboche

Day 7Sightseeing of Tengboche Monastery (3,860m/12660ft) descending to Monjo (2835m/9301ft): 7-8 hrs trek

Wake up to a brand new day and grab some breakfast. The view of sunlight shimmering on the jutting rocks on the mountain is breathtaking. The 15-20 minutes walk from your lodge takes you to Tengboche Monastery (or Thyangboche Monastery). Pay your respects to the biggest Monastery in the Khumbu region and take part in the ceremonies; however, the monks in the monastery are camera shy, so keep it down. Spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kongde Ri are definitely a treat.
The descent to Monjo valley is rather dramatic, with lovely balcony path between the pine trees. The Kongde Ri comes into view as you descend. Monjo is made up of a handful of Overnight in Monjo.

Day 8Monjo to Lukla: 5-6 hrs trek

The Lodge offers a scrumptious breakfast. Also, the final trek from Monjo to Lukla is relatively easier, so slow your pace and stop for drinks and lunch along the way. Day 9Flight to Kathmandu

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and take the time in Kathmandu to shop around for trinkets and memorabilia for your loved ones or head to “Thamel” the tourist hub in Kathmandu with the friends you have made along the way. The atmosphere there is lively and there’s a party going on somewhere in Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10Final Departure

It’s time to bid goodbye, our cheerful representative will drop you to the airport. The Land of the Himalayas has many more secrets to be unraveled. So come back soon.
